Independent Booksellers Week

I can hardly believe that it's a year since I pulled on a T-shirt to celebrate Independent Booksellers Week, but it is. It was great to hang out again this morning with Helen Stanton of Forum Books. She took over the bookshop in my village a couple of years ago and it has gone from strength to strength, arranging literary events, engaging with the communtiy, and generally promoting books and reading.

So, a big round of applause to Forum, to Helen and her wonderful staff. Let's hear it for all indie booksellers - enjoy IBW13!
